About the Opportunity    

Working with the Senior Projects Manager and collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, the Project Lead has the key responsibilities of;

  • Program development and delivery of Minor (<$100,000) and Major (>$100,000) Capital works
  • Capital works forward programming to support Council’s Asset Management Plans
  • Project and contractor management


About you

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or equivalent, with at least five years relevant experience.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in procurement and contract management
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, involving managing projects from initiation to delivery and handover.
  • Highly developed communication skills including the ability to convey and impart information in an easy-to-understand format, including verbal and written skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Current White Card or the ability to obtain a White Card.
  • Experience in the function of local government and its governance requirements (desirable).
